Our food bank provides emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people in crisis, while campaigning for a UK without the need for food banks. Without our volunteers, selflessly donating their time, we simply would not be able to support the thousands of people in crisis.

We are looking for a volunteer in Fraserburgh to coordinate our foodbank centre. We have a great team of volunteers in place and as the icing on the cake, need someone to lead the team and oversee the day to day running of the Foodbank Centre.

Your main tasks include making sure stock is maintained; monitoring the volunteer rota for the foodbank, undertaking a regular slot; inducting new volunteers; ensuring the foodbank is working to the required food hygiene standards; holding the foodbank centre phone and liaising with professionals and members of the public who make enquiries.

You will need to be comfortable with IT skills and you will need to be able to lead people and delegate tasks and responsibilities – because none of us can do it on our own! If this sounds like you, and you would like to apply, please click on the link

The number of people needing food banks has increased in recent years and we anticipate this trend to continue especially in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a Foodbank centre team leader you will play a vital role to our food bank ensuring that we are meeting the demand for our services, providing help and support to people in crisis in the local community.
