Supermarket collection volunteer (Supermarket Collections)

You’ll understand the importance of supermarket collections in raising awareness of the food bank and be comfortable approaching people, handing them a shopping list and asking for a food donation. You’ll sort donations and deliver them to the local food bank. Your positive, friendly and enthusiastic approach will help to encourage and maximize food donations for those in crisis in your local community.

These outreach events take place across various supermarkets in Leeds. The shifts will last 3 hours and are usually on Fridays, from 10:00-13:00 & 13:00-16:00. We are also looking for volunteers to drive the van between the stores and our warehouse throughout the outreach shifts.
