Trustee (Supporting Hulme, Moss Side, Whalley Range and Old Trafford communities)

We are Bridging the Gap who operate Manchester South Central food bank, which provides emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people in crisis. We also operate our More Than Food programme which includes School Uniform support, Financial Inclusion advisors, digital inclusion support and winter provisions.

Without our volunteers, selflessly donating their time, we simply would not be able to support the thousands of people in crisis.

As a Trustee you will play a vital role to Bridging the Gap by ensuring that we are meeting the demand for our services, providing help and support to people in crisis in the local community. As well as providing strategic direction for the charity.

Specific areas of expertise we are looking for include: Financial People Management Fundraising Communications and Social Media Campaigning
