Community Champion (Community Outreach Volunteer)

Proactive positive communication ensures that not only is the food bank supported by the Community but that the Community knows that the Foodbank is there to support them. As the Community Champion you will engage with the community at events to share the message of the food bank.

In this role you will :

Deliver talks, assemblies and presentations to local organisations including Schools and Churches (full training available). Present information about our foodbank, the work we do and the impact we have. Be helping a great cause. Build knowledge, experience and confidence. Have the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Become more involved in your local community. Desirable skills/traits :

Passion, compassion, willingness to try new things, keen to learn, reliable, punctual.
