Signposting Coordinator (Wortley and Farnley Food Bank Helper)

You’ll play an important role in coordinating signposting activities at the food bank and other signposting volunteers; taking time to listen to people in crisis, understanding what’s driving their poverty and identifying agencies they can be referred to for specific help. You’ll enjoy being alongside an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Using your empathy, confidentiality and motivation to support others you will truly make a difference and help to change lives. Full training will be held on Monday 15th April and the food bank will open to the public on Monday 22nd April 2024. Volunteering hours will be from 11am - 2.30pm when the food bank opens.
