Driver Buddy (Greenwich Foodbank)

At the Trussell Trust, we run a range of social enterprise projects. Supported by a small staff team, the projects rely on volunteers to operate.

To meet our Health & Safety responsibilities, we need four driver buddies to accompany our van driver on our scheduled collection from our Supermarket partners and delivering to our Welcome Centres where our guest collect their food parcels.

We are looking for four buddies who are able to volunteer for 2-3 hours between Tuesday - Friday during the hours of 9.30am - 3.30pm.

What you will be doing Assist our van drivers on their scheduled routes in collecting, transporting, and delivering heavy items such as Supermarket cages. You would be also be covering when the van driver is absent ie on holiday

The skills you need You will be able to help to move heavy items and have a clean and full driving licence.
