Barista Volunteer

Food banks provide essential community services to people in crisis. Bournemouth foodbank has the facilities and a café space to welcome clients and prepare food and drinks for clients and members of the community. There are a variety of community events held in our kitchen and café area and we need a dedicated team of hard working and reliable baristas to support the café manager and Bournemouth Foodbank. By volunteering as a Barista volunteer, you will help support the running of the café and help provide hot drinks to a high standard for those in poverty and those in the community. You will be helping over a variety of flexible times either benefiting our foodbank clients or at different community events. One of our foodbank centres is facilitated through the Café and each client can get a free hot drink. Anything purchased at our café goes straight back into Bournemouth Foodbank and helping those in crisis. By helping in the café as a Barista, you can make a real difference to people’s lives providing vital help through our cafe and supporting your local community.
