Signposting volunteer (Chesterfield) (Waiting List)

As a signposting volunteer at Chesterfield Foodbank, you’ll play an important role in taking time to listen to people in crisis, understanding what’s driving their poverty and identifying agencies they can be referred to for specific help. You’ll enjoy being alongside an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Using your empathy, confidentiality and motivation to support others you will truly make a difference and help to change lives. Sometimes we need extra help with sorting and packing food too (please see our other link to register for the General Volunteer role. ) Our foodbank sessions take place Mon-Fri across Chesterfield, so depending on your suitability for the role, your availability and preferred location, we hope to match you to a suitable vacancy as one becomes available.
